Time For Me Now Inspiration- Steady Progress

Spring has officially arrived! So how is the clearing out and focusing on Self Discovery going? Set any goals?

Steady progress or do you find the desire is within you but just seem to hit a road block?

Don't get discouraged!!

ALL of us start with good intentions, a plan and the desire to make changes in our lives. Whether personal goals and transitioning into the life desired or business goals. ALL of us have the ability to get off track. Life happens!

Good News: Focus on Now, Today and begin to move with steady progress!

Sports is a good analogy of Steady Progress... let's take football.  During kick-off, it is seldom that the receiver takes the ball all the way down 99 yards for a touchdown. Yes it does happen.
What typically  happens? The ball is received and steady progress to gain yardage is the objective to reach the goal of a touchdownl! During the process of reaching the goal of achievement the ball is turned over but that doesn't mean that steady progress, focus and desire is gone. On the contrary the focus becomes more prominent.

Yes, there may be times when "going out of bounds" keeps us from our progress. There are many reasons for "going out of bounds" and getting off track. That is OK!

Don't look back- begin today and start fresh to self discovery, your goals or what your soul/heart desire is to achieve in your life.

Here are some Inspirational thoughts:
  • Do not be discouraged if results are not fully achieved right now.
  • The goals or Self Discovery process will happen when the time is right- stay focused
  • Have patience and love for yourself
  • Learn to enjoy each day and the progress that you have been achieving
  • Stay aware each day as there are many gifts that can be received to support us in our progress
  • Breath, Enjoy each day, Laugh, Let Go and remember to write down the progress

Affirmation:
I move toward living the life that I desire through steady progress knowing I will complete all that I desire.

Time for Me Now to commend each of you for desiring living a life that "you want to live"....

I look forward to connecting with you soon!

Time For Me Now Inspiration - Sanctuary

Where do you go when your heart, soul and mind need a break?
Do you have a place of refugee?

Each of us needs a special place to recharge and replenish our energy! If you have such a special place where you can be still, be silent and recharge, both mentally and physically, that is outstanding.

Perhaps you have heard of a Sanctuary but not quite sure what that means or how to go about creating such a place. A Sanctuary is a place that is special just to and for you.
A place or area where a "Time for Me Now" is set aside to remove yourself from every day stress and activities.

For most, if not all of us, our lives are hectic and can be very stressful. Decisions to be made, appointments to be kept, families to be taken care of...... OK,  you get the pictures.

A Sanctuary is a place just for you to relax. This could be an area in the living room, a place in the bedroom, an outside courtyard with flowers perhaps even a fountain. The space doesn't have to be large, it just needs to be your space. Create your space with photos of loved ones, books, candles, anything that brings you comfort and supports your goal of replenishing your energy and spirit!  The space can be simple or as elaborate as you want to make "your" space. The key is to have it be an area that serves your purpose- relax, unwind and replenish!

For me, my sanctuary is two-fold. When the grind of the day or weeks gets to me, I choose one of two options: Nature/Outside or my created space in my bedroom. My favorite place is the photo above, it is a beautiful lake close where I can spend hours just being by the water or sitting looking at the water, reflecting, breathing or mediating. This lake is close but not always convenient so then I walk around my area. There is a trail that winds for 3.5 miles that I walk. There are benches around the trail, so I sit and look at the mountains. I breath, reflect and in the process I get exercise, which always helps to refresh and replenish!  Nature is a place for healing, for reminding us of the bigger picture! Water and water flow is important to me as I am a Cancer and I thrive on the sound of water either flowing from a fountain or lapping on the shore!

Sometimes nature is not an option so I then retreat to my space in my bedroom. I have a small corner of my room with a chair, a table that has candles that I light and books that are inspirational. There is a pillow and a warm blanket. Photos of my family and my beloved companion, Mitch, he's a 13year old Pappillon joins me.....
Mitch is lays next to me! He considers this his special space as well. This is where I meditate, breath in new air/energy and exhale all the stress and energy that no longer serves my purpose.
Reading and writing in my journal is also activities that I do in "my Sanctuary".
Mitch snoozes, but that is OK, this is his space and he feels very comfortable hanging out in this area.

Each of us deserves to have a "me" space that reflects what makes us most relaxed. Taking the time in our Sanctuary refreshes, revitalizes and nourishes us as individuals. The Sanctuary enables us to gain new found energy and inspiration! The Sanctuary enables us to quiet our mind to perhaps hear the messages that our heart, soul or body are trying to get us to pay attention to.

Affirmation: " I am deserving of a special place and time for me, I am worthy and loved"

Time For Me Now Inspiration- Self Discovery

Video games, electronics, many other devices are primarily mainstream entertainment. Once Upon a Time there were other activities, which some still enjoy, specifically puzzles. Remember getting the box off the shelf and dumping it out on the table. Turning over each piece to see the colors and then perhaps putting them in some sort of order. The only direction for creating the masterpiece, which now is just pieces of color, shapes and sizes on the table, is the image on the box!  Well, at least that was a beginning!

Self Discovery is very  much like creating a beautiful puzzle from various pieces; all pieces are separate from each other until we find exactly where the right piece belongs to connect yet another piece. The magnificent image on the box was always there, waiting to be created, it just needed some attention to become whole.

Each day that is lived, each experience, each adventure, each breath is a piece toward building the "Masterpiece of You"..

There comes a time when each of us asks ourselves one of these questions:
Self ,is this all there is? Self, what is my purpose? Self, what am I doing? Self, how did I get here? Self, who am I really? The questions can go on depending on the situation and experiences in each of our lives.

Self Discovery started the moment each of us took our first breath of life. Each day we live life we discover and experience new and different things that begin to put the pieces together. Sometimes the pieces for connecting to our inner self were misplaced perhaps because of our careers, taking care of others, outside activities or just living life.

The amazing thing is that all the pieces to answer your questions are all within YOU! This is where you begin.

Find your passion, set your intention, keep a journal- write down your thoughts, detail your progress,  record your dreams. Engage in what brings you joy and passion- what makes you feel alive! Become more aware of people and things around you - never know what you may be missing that is right there in front of you.

Time For Me Now to remind you to get excited all the good things that you deserve and are able to experience and achieve for your life!

" Self Discovery is all our experiences, our heart and soul desires, identifying our intention and  take action to create" CL

Wishing you a fabulous adventure in connecting with all your heart and soul desires!
