The Sun, The Moon and The Stars!!

Do you have a special place or box where you keep special things?

I have a special box, it is wooden with the sun, stars and crescent moon shapes. This box is very special to me, as inside are written words of dreams that I have achieved and those dreams yet realized. It's fun to open up my box flipping through the various papers and objects that have significant meaning to me.

Does the weather play a role in focus and activity in your life? I know when it is cold, cloudy and gloomy my activity level and desire to achieve tends to move as slow as a turtle. The past two months have been really hard on so many people with snow, wind, rain, ice and negative degree temperatures. Though my weather has been mild compared to others, there have been days that my actions towards goals or dreams has been slow, very slow!

All of us, even coaches, can get derailed or affected by the energy levels and even the weather, keeping us from moving closer to our goals or dreams!  Time for me now to get moving and get into ACTION!!

Today is a new moon  phase, the New Moon! I love the New Moon as it brings about a sense of new beginnings! A chance to dust off our goals, our dreams and evaluate. A clean canvas!

Early this morning I opened up my box and spent some time reading and reviewing exactly all the things I have gotten accomplished. Then began thinking about my next dream, a really really big dream.

Interested in bringing a really really big dream alive? Here are my initial steps, perhaps these will help guide you to developing a plan to achieve your dream(s):

What would it be?
What resources or support would I need to accomplish this dream?
What action steps would I need to put into motion?
How long would it take me?
How could I develop this Dream serve others?

Write these questions and the answers down in a journal or notebook. Writing allows for the thought to become real and alive. It allows allows for:

Clarity- allowing the dream/goal  to take form
Motivates- excitement begins to build to then take Action that sets all things in motion
Measure- ability to go back and see just how much activity and progress you have made.

This New Moon- DREAM BIG!! It is only the second month of the year with plenty of time to adjust!

Dream Big, you deserve it! Within you is the Strength, Power, Patience and Passion to Receive!

Here's to igniting a really Big Dream today!

Much love!

LEAP

" Time for me now to leap off the lily pad and experience all that life has to offer"

So this year is Leap Year- and today is Leap Day, the 29Th of February!  Since this occurs only every four years thought it would be fun to explore the traditions and the myths surrounding this date.
Single? Well, today is suggested to be the day to ask that someone special or as one friend recently said, I’ll just go out and find a really good looking guy driving a really nice car, with an attitude and ask him to marry me!.  Yikes!!! Really?

I was stunned as this is not like her, thinking my friend has gone bonkers! Then she told me this:
She had read that in some areas of the world if a woman proposed to a man, and he refused, he would have to buy her clothing. So her thinking was OK, I am single what is the downside risk of No? Laughing I asked her did it ever occur to you that men are not familiar with this so called tradition? Didn’t seem to bother her! Her quick wit is so appreciated, as in her response back to me.

“Ok so really using today to practice my skills of walking up to a strange man and introducing myself”.  Putting me out there and taking risks is part of my 2012 self development program. Today I feel more confident as in the back of my mind I feel it is more acceptable today!

The Risk of Going after what we want and the Reward of Accomplishment!
A mental safety net, at least in her mind, to take a Leap and take a risk!
So what are you leaping for today and for 2012?  Given we have an extra day prior to entering the third month in the first quarter a good time to assess how are leaping is going.

·         Are we leaping toward our dreams, goals, visions, projects, life?
·         Perhaps we have been sitting on a lily pad too long either waiting on “something” or fear of leaping to new adventures.
Take a moment today for riveting your dreams and goals and think about:

·         The accomplishments and progress of the past two months – Celebrate!
·         Secure and reevaluate all that you want to accomplish in 2012 through taking Action
·         Fasten your belief securely within that “You are Powerful and Can Do it
·         Pull the strength up from within and jump off that Lily Pad and “Take Control of You”
Time for me now to wish you a great adventure leaping to all the you desire and remind you of something my mentor Denise Linn always says: “Who you are is enough”…….

Release

Have you ever noticed that the lessons we are to learn come in various forms?  Sometimes, the lessons are subtle, sometimes in your face, wrapped in nice packing or perhaps in an experience.
Please allow me to introduce Mitch, our 14 year old Papillion; he is “our boy”.
Beginning as a puppy, Mitch has been resilient from one adventure to another! Mitch may be small, only weighing 9 lbs, but he has a heart as big as the world, full of love, fun and an adventurous personality!
Over the past couple of years, Mitch has been experiencing his age, loss of hearing and vision. But he continues to adapt, putting one paw in front of the other! I have adapted as well to ensure his safety and ease of moving around the house.  At first, I felt sad about his loss of sight and vision, but watching him adapt and not miss a step, warmed my heart and feeling blessed that he looks and acts like a puppy!
This year I have been struggling with making a major decision on closing something that I have put my heart and soul into for many years. Energy, resources, time, creativity and so many other activities have gone into this venture. Yes, I was emotionally attached!  Struggling to make “the right” decision, my head and heart were in conflict as to what to do. Sound familiar?
One recent evening, fell into bed exhausted with Mitch lying next to me. I was reading and writing in my journal. All of a sudden I felt Mitch twitch, nothing unusual as when he sleeps he sometimes twitches. I call it “Mitch is dreaming again”…
All of a sudden, Mitch’s twitch turned into a continual shaking and twitching. I leaped off the bed and picked him up holding him close. This continued for what seemed an eternity. Holding him, kissing his head, sending love to him, didn’t cease his experience. Finally the tremors stopped only to start up again.
Not wanting Mitch to pick up on my concern and being scared stayed in the moment with him, it was later when he was resting that I fell to pieces.
When the shaking and tremors ceased, after he was cleaned up and he was lying in front of the fire in the fireplace, all warm and snuggled in his bed, I sat on the floor thinking about what we had just gone through together. Then a light went off!
Mitch once again, taught me a lesson – Release! No matter how much I wanted to help him in the moment, no matter how much love, I could not change, fix or stop what he was going through.
Lesson: Release what you cannot control!
Release, Allow and then respond to the outcome which best serves.
Mitch is doing fabulous; he is lying next to me as I am working. I am doing fabulous!  Releasing the venture has worked out better than ever imagined. New doors are opening up while winding down.
Is there something that you are holding onto that is out of your control?
If so, evaluate if  no longer within your control regardless of the emotional attachment – Release!
“Every minute of every day is a perfect miracle”   Walt Whitman
Consider not wasting on minute on what you can't control as the magic is in what you can control!

Time For Me Now Inspiration ~ Dreams

“Dreams are the Gateway”:
So fling open the door and embrace all the beautiful opportunities and possibilities that are yours to enjoy!
Lately, it seems that the conversations, questions, email marketing and clients are talking about or surrounded by the word Dreams!
Dreams – the definition of “Dream” means something different for each person.
“Having the dream job”, “Dream of owning a business”, “Finding the Dream Partner”, “Building my Dream Home” or “Achieving my Dreams”.
These are great examples of an aspiration, a longing to achieve what the dream is within each of us. All wonderful descriptions for the person who is dreaming of attaining their Goal!
Dreams also take a totally different definition through different variations of techniques. Let’s take the most obvious way of dreaming. Nighttime Dreaming!
Nighttime Dreaming is a series of sensations, images, emotions felt, and images that occur during certain stages of sleep. Dreams can also be experienced in length as well as just impressions left as images.
Where do these images or emotions come from? Is there a hidden meaning? Was it something I ate prior to going to sleep? Excellent questions!
First and foremost, the dreams are coming from deep within you!  That’s right, the images, emotions or scenes being played out are being played out to support, guide and provide direction. Yes, these dreams can also be a source in supporting your efforts to attain your “Dream …….”.
Our Soul, the energy source of life, knows the truth: “The Soul Loves the Truth”…. When sleeping our “mind chatter” is quiet, there is no ego deflecting our creative thoughts or keeping us from success.
Time for me now to suggest:
*       Keep a journal or paper/pen on your nightstand
*       Record time, images, feeling of the dream
*       Specific Images? Sitting on a staircase, notice top, bottom, middle; alone or someone with you?
o    In a house? Which room?
o    Images of nature, birds, dragons, animals; just there or what action is taking place?
*       Record each evening and then go back to review, is there a pattern?
Each position, each image, each activity has a meaning that is trying to send a message. So what is that message?
First and foremost, don’t be afraid!
Embrace the dream time as the answers that you are seeking or messages to get back on path!

Confused about the imagery or perhaps want to learn how to interpret your dreams? Click on the email for more information or to ask a question. It would be my pleasure to connect with you!

Time For Me Now Inspiration - Success

Success, what does that actually mean?  Do you measure it? What does it feel like?
Let’s see, a few years ago, actually a lot of years ago, getting a degree and holding that diploma meant Success! Then came landing my first real paying job with benefits!  Now that was a major success!
Over the years Success has evolved to mean many things, mostly a mind-set. There are many successes each day, some bigger than others. The feeling of success in reaching a goal, exceeded expectations of a client or learning a new skill still gets me really jazzed up.  Success propels motivation!
I have evolved to understand, especially the past three years, that success is also found in everyday life. Life as we knew through the 80’s and 90’s no longer exists. For some, that is a good thing, for most, it was definitely a shift in mindset and lifestyle. Success results from our inner wisdom and having control of ourselves, our space and our thoughts.
Congratulate yourself on your Success!
Success comes in various dimensions and in some of the smallest of feats.
So each day an accomplishment becomes a success. Should a circumstance, event or situation happen, assess and learn from this experience! Apply the lessons to propel your motivation toward getting where or what you want! Don’t get discouraged! Each minor victory is a reason to celebrate as you move closer to your goals, dreams and all that you desire in your life!
Success also gives so many gifts and blessings when we continue to stay in activity and move forward.
So how do you measure success? One step at a time!
Time for me now to remind you to celebrate each Success and to keep moving to all your desires!

Time For Me Now Inspiration - DREAMS

Dreams- Allow the images to soar so that the messages can be heard!
Dreams – the movie that plays at night or perhaps images, numbers or feelings.  Romance, Nightmares, Nature, mysterious images not defined by our sense of reality.
Today let’s explore the dreams of nighttime wonder and begin the first step toward our exploration!
Yes, Dreams have been around since the beginning of time, the interesting journey is the understanding of the mystery surrounding those images and the segments that are experienced during the night.
Dreams have a history as far back as Ancient civilizations, Native American Culture, all cultures and even in the Old and New Testament. Messages received in dreams were often used for decisions in cultures and tribes; Dreams were also used for healing. When the cycles of nature and man were aligned the communication through night time dreaming was a place of learning, teaching, inspiration and ability to receive answers on one’s life and direction. Scientists to Psychologists to Metaphysicians to Individuals all have studied researched or experienced dreams that provided significant findings and profound experiences.
My personal experiences and studying of dreams, dream recall, dream techniques as well as the meaning of dreams has shifted and positively impacted my life. My desire is that your dreams do the same for you!
So, what are you dreaming about? Are the dreams pleasant or would you consider them nightmares?
The question may be:  Where do I begin to understand the messages of my dreams?
Time for Me Now to suggest some tips and resources to further expand the exploration of your dreams:
Explore your attitude regarding dreaming. Believe that your dreams are important, that the images or movie being played during dream state have messages for you. Value your dreams as messages. Embrace and Love your Nightmares, yes you read that correctly! Nightmares are messages as well and have the propensity to support us being strong, healthy, and confident!
v  Keep a Journal and pen by your bed.
v  When you awaken in the middle of the night, write down your dream, images any detail; if sleep continues through morning; write down what you remember prior to getting out of bed.
v  Tracking time of awakening is important as dream exploration continues.
v  Can’t remember your dream? Write down your feeling upon waking up. Anxious, calm, etc.
v  Note colors, images, numbers, people (note relationship; brother, mother, sister, etc). location

Dreams: Unlocking the Mystery and Power

Dreams: Unlocking the Mystery and Power
Dreams- what we want our lives to be, the careers we have, the relationships we would like to have in our lives or perhaps where we will live and experience life. Dreams we have for loved ones.

Time For Me Now Weekly Inspiration-Flow

Flow

The saying: “Going with the Flow”
Letting go, roll with the punches, no stress or perhaps no direction.
Flow for inspiration is a process for letting go, let happen and let the experience transcend you into a different perspective.
Everyday there are situations or events that each of us attempts to control, to change, to go into the direction that we think it needs to go, however despite our attempts or focus it just gets harder for us. The result or outcome is very seldom what was anticipated.
Ever try to swim against the waves? Ever try to paddle upstream against the rapids? Did it take a lot of effort?Did you get to where you wanted to be?If you made it, Congratulations- Did you enjoy the process? Was the experience effortless, enjoyable with the opportunity to see the beauty in the process?
OR
Was the experience after all that effort not realized, not what was expected or perhaps had the opposite result?
The personal collateral realized was fatigue, stress, disappointment, frustration or maybe even anger!
There are many times when I ask myself, “Why is this so hard”? Then I answer myself: “It shouldn’t be this hard if this is the right course”.
So I check myself- asking: “Is what I am doing or the actions/path that I am taking serving me and my outcome?
Perhaps there is a different solution, maybe I need to bring in resources or maybe I am trying too hard!
Action?  I breathe, breathe deeply and “Let Go”….. That’s right “Let Go”….  I let go of the anticipated result.
I stop trying so hard and take a break, whether a few minutes, few hours or even days. Then I revisit the situation, only this time from a perspective of adjusting to the action rather than trying to adjust the action itself.
Focus only on what you can control and flow with the rest
Amazing things begin to happen. Try it!
So consider this, stop trying to control every aspect of your life, delegate, and stop being self critical, stop being judgmental or thinking it has to be this way.
Begin by being grateful for the opportunity and appreciate the position you are in; if possible allow yourself to receive and accept support from others!
Flow with life and all that life has to offer you.

Time For Me Now Inspiration - Simple and FUN!

Keep It Simple and FUN!!
I still laugh when I think back to an earlier time in my career.
My career was a blessing, but I was most definitely not taking Time for ME.
Looking back, I am ok with that part of my life; My journey brought me to:  Time for Me Now!
Each of us, including myself needed to experience what I call the hamster rotation.
What is a hamster rotation?  I describe it as continual motion exerting energy in an effort to reach goal(s) set by someone other than ourselves in an effort to gain all that we think we want to achieve or attain.
Sound or feel familiar?
Simple and Fun was my motto and management style. Yes, professionalism and “attaining” the goals was first and foremost but given the time spent at work and away from family and loved ones, my belief was and still is let’s make it Simple and Fun…. AND get the job done!
Yes, my approach raised a lot of eyebrows but as long as the team was achieving results ~ “All was well”
I have had the pleasure and honor of leading many teams over my career meeting incredible individuals.
Simple and FUN brought some amazing results for the team and for the company….
What in the world does this have to do with a website on Dreams and Coaching, you may ask!
Simple one word answer: Everything.
My coaching and support on Time for me Now is a little different than most coaching sites but not different from my approach to Life.
Simple and FUN!
Everyone begins a journey or seeking change- One Step at a time- so why not One Word at a time?
Inspiration is important, so each week I will be focusing on “one word” that can be practiced or reflected upon during the week.
The intent is to support your desire to shift perspective or just plain start to enjoy breathing again!
My desire is for you to “Dream, Believe Again and Achieve” ™ all that YOU desire…….
